$AMZN – So if you believe that the open today would offer a good “short into strength” opportunity, first, would you look at shorter dated puts (7-14 days) or something longer? Second, what strike? Your thoughts please. thanks.

  Sorry to be so slow in responding, @Bob. Yesterday was a crazy day at my work so didn’t get to post everything I did with this. I actually chickened out on this iron condor as AMZN kept sinking during the day. I posted this trade in the morning and then as the day progressed, I actually legged out of it and then took on just a BuPS further away at 540/535. Overall I’m about even on this position after all that. I should have just left it alone and not worried about it.
  
  As to your question about “short into strength”, it’s probably too late to answer that question with any meaning and it would just be a “guess” as to which way this thing will go. Last July that would have worked, and October it wouldn’t have worked.
  
  That’s all I’ve got! Trying to get ready to go see my grandkids today.
