It looks like we could be “creeping” up on a downside warning. This happens when we have no days that are violently volatile but the VIX slowly rises and hits 50% increase over its most recent low.

Over at OMM yesterday Dan went long a put in ABX so maybe the bottom is about in on NUGT… No offense to you DANilonians 😂

On Aug. 19 I bought some DBA, a food commodities ETF, because it was down near 3 year lows, how low could it go after all. Well it can go lower and has. Food and oil at incredible lows, deflationary period I guess. I’ll hang in there, it’s a slow mover, the opposite of NUGT.

There has been a lot of talk of about crude “glut” and that the move up will be short lived.
Assuming that is so, am considering a BECS on GUSH. No more selling Calls for me as my recent
NUGT experiences have not been pretty. Looking at BECS – Sep 16 Buy 90 and Sell 85 @2.25.
Any thoughts on this approach.
