GS calls

Sold GS SEP 30 2016 167.5 Calls @ .95

Replacing this week’s expiration…covered by long Leap calls.

I decided to take the trade but also sold puts as well.
BTO 2018 130 calls @42
STO 2018 130 puts @6.80
STO September 30, 167.5 calls @1.00 so the cost of my long calls is now 34.20

  Synthetic stock…I like it! Might do the same thing in XLE if it can “tank” a little lower.

  I agree with your take on the disaster puts as not being needed on a ticker like this. Mine are sitting at even so may flip ’em around.

  Here’s what I ended up doing:
  
  Sold to close Jan 2018 130 puts @ 6.90 (made .15! LOL)
  
  Sold to Open Jan 2018 130/100 Bull put spreads @ 3.90
  
  Sold the put spreads at twice the size but brought in .90 more premium as well as cutting max loss by half and really reducing margin required. Hoping the spread will stabilize things if we really get to selling off. Of course in a downtrend we would be hammering the short term calls and selling the crap out of them.

    As Tim Knight said, the only thing that I can see is that Trump wins the debate hands down or she has a fit on the stage and collapses from a coughing spell. Then I think that , look out below.
