Despite trying a lot of different strategies in Schwab accounts my IB Account with primarily covered calls is outperforming……

Sort of frustrating to spend most of the trading time managing and experimenting with different trading strategies in my Schwab accounts and have the IB account that I don’t spend much time on outperform by a significant margin. I either need to improve my trading skills or not trade as much!

Thanks for sharing the experience Jeff. I think it may have something to do with the market environment and the time frame of the trades.

When looking back my trades this year, the ones that did better are either 0-4 days or 2-3 months out. The typical 1-3 week ones did the worst, hard to get both direction and timing right, at least for me.

Coincidentally, an accidental-investment-turned CC of BIIB made me more money than any other ticker.

  Thanks for the comment. It has been interesting an interesting year. The optionsbistro group provide a lot of ideas. Trying to understand the trades and learn how they are doing has been a real learning experience. I have followed your comments and trades. Thanks for sharing them.
