Very nice. You got .20 more than my condor on only the put side, and 5 points further down.

  I find that many times there is an over reaction in the pre market by perhaps the Europeans so I can get a trade even if I miss the day before.

    Waiting for morning is an interesting angle on my #SPX1dte strategy. For a period last summer I was doing that as SOP, since we were getting so many over night moves. But what you did was look for the overnight direction (in today’s case, DOWN) and sell a high-delta spread only on that side. Usually overreactions, as you call them, do not follow through, so the higher delta is a decent bet. If you have to stop out, it would be no worse than me with my condor I sold yesterday.
    
    Something I’ll think about and watch if you continue to do it.

      The strangle portion of the condor used to get about 80 points on on a 6 delta but now it getting less than that so I worry about a news event if it gets down to 60 points.
