SPX 0-dte trades 6/27/24

#SPX0dte Sold to Open $SPX Jun 27th 5445/5475-5480/5510 condors for 13.559, IV 15.23%, at 8:53 ET.

10% hit at 11:11a…. that took much too long. My pre-open entry did not help, as the price of the condor was above 14.00 after the open, even when it was dead center. Not closed yet, I’m going to push for more decay since data this morning caused little reaction, and the Street waiting for PCE deflator tomorrow morning.

  Agreed. Slow day of nice theta without losing much tomorrow since data is in the morning premium is holding up nicely. The perfect setup. In fact the whole week has only had a 44 point range. Love it.

  Closed for 9.50, about 30% of max profit. Pushed it today and it worked. First strong week in awhile, so I may not trade at all tomorrow, unless the reaction to morning data is quiet.
