  Stopped for 17.60. Boxing Day bummer. It seems inevitable if I build up a big midweek profit that Thursday and Friday are losers. Keep thinking that trend has to change sometime, but it just won’t. Will wait to see if consolidation settles in.

        Stopped for 15.85. Just eating away at my week’s profit, so massively frustrating. I have continued my trend of entering at the exact moment consolidation is ending and a trend begins. On this one SPX inched higher but premium was not moving much, and then the pull back offered a dollar of profit but not quite my 10%. In hindsight, that was the place I should have closed. If I’m riding on good profit for the week and a trend is showing its hand, settle for lower than 10%. That’s a rule I set a few weeks ago but didn’t heed today. So instead, my SECOND +2 dollar loss for the day.

Since the only thing that has worked for me in a full week now if being long, I entered another risk reversal.
Bought to open 6060/6075 call spreads, delta +.19
Sold to Open 6020/6000 put spreads, delta -.14
Net DEBIT .30

This long call spread is full below my short one that I sold this morning.

  Wow, what a mess of a day. Put spread is in danger, but I’m going to be a bit liberal with my normal stop rule since this was an aggressive position. The short call spread closed for .15

    Closed the mess for .70 debit. Burned over half of the week’s profit today. With over a week-long run of failed tight condors, I should not have tried them today.
