SPX 0-dte trades for 7/18/25

#SPX0dte Sold to Open $SPX July 18th 6255/6275-6345/6365 condors for 1.15, IV 17.09%, deltas (IB) -.08 +.06

Bailed on call side for .90, although could have waited for the deeper pullback. Right after entering the trade I realized the deltas were probably wrong and this was centered too high. Was hoping maybe Friday would be quieter.

  Earlier sold 6265/6295-6300/6330 for 12.00, BTC for 10.70, about 10%. These tight condors are the only trades that have worked this week, and they’ve given me a small profit for the week. May try one more if the swings subside. I’m using a 1.00 trail stop to protect from big moves. For this one, if I hadn’t closed manually for 10% it would have gotten as low as 9.65, then it would have been trail-stopped on the dip for around 11.00.

Closed 6250/6230 put spreads for .15

Also Sold to Open 6265/6290-6295/6320 condors for 8.60…. already past 10% going for more with $1 trail stop

  Closed manually for 4.60, nice $4 profit which actually got me to my weekly target.
  
  Seems like there is no consistent strategy for the 2025 market. Got to adjust based on the news cycle and overnight/intraday swings.
