SPX 0-dte trades for 8/28/25

#SPX0dte Sold to Open $SPX Aug 28th 6415/6435-6525/6545 condors for 1.10, IV 15.70%, deltas -.07 +.07

It has been a well-contained week and this trade would havew worked all three days. So I’m lifting my moratorium.

Bailed on call side for .90. Biggest move at the open we’ve had all week, so I’m not going to bother. Call it the JACO trade.

  Already calmed down enough to take advantage of fastest decay of the day:
  
  Sold 6460/6490-6495/6520 condors for 15.35, IV 16.50%
  
  Placed this BELOW the money as it is easier to manage and bias is currently bullish. Also call-side wing is 5-point narrower to ease any upside spike.

    Leave it to me to screw up everything just when I think market has calmed down. Fortunately it was my TRAIL LIMIT order that stopped me out for 16.10 before the drop began in earnest. Watching for stability now to try again. Also, annoyingly now have to watch the short put side from my first trade.

      Closed puts for .10 and also made 1.15 on a quick condor from 9.00 to 7.85.
