XSP rolls 3/9/26

#FuzzyLEAPs Was expecting to trade all three strikes after the close, but my lowest strike filled on this late day rally:
Rolled $XSP Mar 9th 683 put to Mar 10th 683 put, .60 credit

Now could have gotten as much as 2.00 for this. Got me thinking… I had a limit order in for .60 that wasn’t going to fill unless we got a decent spike higher. But a decent spike higher often means an irrational rally, and maybe best to just wait with no order in place on days like these…. trade at closing bell if no rally comes.

  I try not to lose too much sleep over it. Some days the roll is great other days not so much. I look at it like, “I coulda done better but I coulda done worse”. 🙂 🙂 🙂 It’ll all even out over the next 1746 days.

XSP Mar 9th 695 put expired for 15.40 debit. Sold Mar 10th 695 put for 15.95 (.55 credit)
XSP Mar 9th 693 puts expired for 13.40 debit. Sold Mar 10th 693 puts for 14.00 (.60 credit)

Third day straight this has worked, but as some of us predicted it is contingent on the market’s move after the bell. Whereas Thursday and Friday’s bells rang during a move down, today’s rang during a move up. So I had to wait for a drop, which came 3 minutes after the bell (you can see on SPY or /ES 1-minute charts with after-hours visible).
