Hi Jeff, I had a thought, but it seems to good to me, so I must be missing something. No rush, weekend ok, and that is if you have time.
Stock is HIIQ, and I have the 6/21/19 24.0 Covered Calls. Stock is at28.0. I want to buy back the Calls @4.75, I got 1.30 when I sold them. I want to STO the 28.0 Calls for 2.25. My loss on the 24.0 Calls is 4.75-1.30, or -3.45. I get 2.25 for selling the 28.0 Calls + 4 strikes for a debit of 1.20, 3.45-2.25. This strikes me as being a profitable trade with expiration in 2 weeks. Is it, or am I really missing something. Thank you, HonkHonk81

Had a handful of stock I didn’t want to lose, which I encumbered with short calls. The stock moved up, and I regretted selling the Calls, soooo, I STC the original trade, and BTO a similar trade, 3 strikes higher, with the same expiration. Credit of 1.00, plus extra 3 strikes. Questions solicited. Rolled up but not out.
