Will look to complete iron condor if able and will also look to take profits early.

Closed GOOGL Apr 1 810/800/650/640 IC for 60% max profit.
STO on 2/23 for 1.50 and BTC today for 0.60. Could probably have held longer and gotten more out of it as GOOGL continues consolidation, but glad to take the profit and free up capital.

DIGin out!
Yesterday BTO Mar 18 31/29 DIG put spread for 0.65. Out today for 1.20 credit.
Did that yesterday, sort of as a whim, something different. Took the risk for 0.65 and it paid handsomely in less than 24 hours. Whew! Not sure I should do that again. @prvtrader, I should probably not have done that and your warning was greatly appreciated. Probably shouldn’t trade options on a whim, but this time it worked quickly. Hope is not a trading strategy and whims probably shouldn’t be either. Need to remind myself of that more often, even though this time it worked.

$DIG – doing something a little out of character but think that oil has jumped a bit fast and should go back down. BTO vertical put spread. Mar 18 31/29 put spread for 0.65 when DIG trading at 31.10.

SPX – completing iron condor
STO Mar 24 1820/1810 BuPS for 0.95 which completes IC for this expiration.
Already had 2040/2050 BeCS for .70. Total of 1.65 for this IC.
PANW call side closed
Closed the 145/150 call side for 2.65. Leaving the put side to expire worthless. STO yesterday for 1.55. So taking a 1.10 loss instead of potentially more later today.
Brokers back up!
Able to login to my brokerage account now from work. Last trade was on my phone and a little harder to figure out there, but glad to be back online with my broker now. 🙂
SPX roll
Rolled my 1960/1970 SPX today’s expiration, to next week for credit. I think this market goes down, so staying at same strikes and will try to get some more profit here instead of risking it today. Had originally STO yesterday for .70, and rolled for additional 1.80 credit today.

PANW and SPXW in danger today.
Took what looked like a safe PANW IC yesterday before earnings, then the pre-release junk happened and the call side will be threatened today. @Jeff, any thoughts on salvaging this?
Also have a $SPXW 1960/1970 call spread that looks threatened.
With the PANW, I was very aware of the possibility of this going bad, as all earnings plays are somewhat of a surprise, but we all hate to lose anything. Just talking out loud here and thinking what to do about these today.

Got called out of stock last Friday. Today taking another way and STO Mar 18 20.00 put for 0.25.
Would actually like to see it go there and buy the stock, but I’ll take the cash also any time and do it again next month if it looks good.

Originally had STO 10 days ago for 1.25.
I am starting to close positions early for good profit instead of trying to wring out every dime to expiration. That has gotten me in trouble in this volatile market so I will gladly take 76% max profit any time. This is working far better than trying to get to expiration date intact.

I think it has met resistance at 540 and will continue down a while. Will certainly watch this closely and would close if debit was 1.20.

Thanks for those who gave input yesterday. I’m now moving out of TradeKing and into TDAmeritrade. Still having trouble today after their computer upgrades over the weekend. Opened new account and now waiting for things to transfer over.

Anyone use TradeKing? I have had no problems until this weekend when they decided to upgrade their servers, etc. It was down all weekend so couldn’t check anything. Today, sometimes up and mostly down. Can’t place any online trades. Ouch.
Any suggestions? Am looking at TDAmeritrade with account via TastyTrade. Still will pay more costs than TradeKing, but it may be worth it for the extras you get.
