Time to open more spreads. Have one IC left – Aug 26 2040/2015 put @ 1.40 by 2230/2250 call @ 1.50 going to have to watch the call side with new high at 2180.27.

BTC July 20 2175/2180/2140/2135 @ .25 sold yesterday @ .50. Closed put side for no commission, call side bought at .25, as momentum moving to breach 2175 short, SPX now at 2173.70. TDA made money, while I live to trade another day…

$SPXcampaign Buy to close Aug 5th 2180/2200 call spreads for $3.05 sold. Sold Jul 8 for 1.25, put side of this iron condor safe, for now, using Jeff’s play book on this one will roll later.
This week is $SPX op ex on Friday and we start earnings reports today…thought we just finished?!

Brexit or not, my long term portfolio recovered from UK dip and went ahead on this rally. Picked up more dividend shares, EVA + CINR, too.

Stocks are modestly paring gains after surging Thursday to end June with its best 3-day gain in 4 months (3 consecutive days of 200+ point gains for the Dow Industrials), and nearly erasing all of the post Brexit related losses. Defensive assets are surging again this morning, with gold up over 1% (silver up over 2.5% and near best levels in 2-years), while bonds extend recent gains, pushing the 10-year yield down to fresh 4-year lows of 1.40%.
Trade safely, or turn off your computer, buy fireworks and enjoy the weekend, which is what I’m doing at the beach!
#SPXcampaign Closed July 17 2175/2200 bear call spread at 0.15 (0.20 rule) sold June 13 for 2.15, 17 DTE. Tried this trade at 15 delta, a little closer than SPXcampaign rules, worked this time on account of BREXIT vote. I’ll try another when index normalizes!?

#SPXcampaign 6/1 STO 2070/2065 put spreads @ .35, 6/2 STO 2115/2120 call spreads @ .35, and Iron Condor expiring today, BTC both put and call spread short strikes @ .05 each taking risk off, longs will expire worthless. I’ve been bitten before by SPX late day snap backs, happy with 86% profit and free to leave early for the beach.

#ContangoETFs NUGT’s free-fall yesterday, presumably on FOMC minutes, got me thinking if there were s/r levels to hang on before bailing on my short put positions, and remembering that gold has a mind of its own, where is support? The 52 week daily levels are the low on Jan 19 at 17.40, and the high on May 2 at 123.96 a 50% fib retracement between those points is $70.46 NUGT closed at $84.52 about 10 pts above the lower BB and 3 pts above the 50 day ema.
So, I have more questions than answers about NUGT s/r levels but interested in others comments…for sure those with short calls made some bucks today!
