I spent a few days at Disneyworld last week, the guest of a conventioneer.The happiest place on earth has turned into the most expensive place on earth. Customer service, organization and convenience, all are amazing. They may have the most expensive beer in the country too.

March 14, sold an April 18, 240/300 strangle, AVGO went way up, I went inverted and was assigned at 320, then AVGO went way down. There was good premium in selling calls and I had the cost basis down to 295. I closed the position today as AVGO was up 16 points. I was fortunate to make almost $400 on this, have some cash back in the account, plus receiving a nice dividend tomorrow. Phew.

Sold July 19, 29/37 strangle for 1.06, profitable just outside the 1 day max moves. Thanks again Jeff.

June 12, sold July 19, 800/810 call spread for 1.75, bought today for .65, still have a butterfly, going to Q’doba for lunch.

January 23 I sold a 120/160 earnings strangle. It quickly tore threw 160 and up to 209 after April earnings.
I adjusted this trade 7 times, went inverted and assigned short shares while having a short 185 put. LRCX is down about 8 to around 180 today. I closed the position and made about $3, yes $3.00, not $300.00. It wasn’t the best use of capital as TDA was requiring over 8K in margin for awhile. However I’m unscathed and looking at LULU and RH.

I was assigned last night on LRCX, short 100 shares, at 165 from a January earnings trade gone bad that has been rolled and rolled and rolled. LRCX is at 189. I have a June 21, 185 short put and have collected $2275 in premium. This may workout ok.

May 15, sold a June 21, 180/275 strangle for 2.97, I was worried about the downside.
May 31, rolled the call down to June 21, 190 at the exact wrong time. Today I rolled it all to a July 5, inverted 185 call/200 put strangle. I have collected $2724 in premium. arrggghh

Sold June 14, 297.50 call for 2.35, bringing my assigned cost basis to 295. AVGO working it’s way back up, now at 279.

May 3, sold a June 21, 685/690 put spread for 1.60. CMG went down down down, it’s recovered, trade turned profitable today, bought for 1.15. I thought I would do better, but CMG touched 636 on Monday, up to 713 now, it’s impacted by certain tweets and an African swine disease.

I was assigned on a June 21, 55 put that I have been nursing along since July of 2018 grrr. I had collected $473, stock is at 37. I now have 200 assigned shares with a cost basis of 57. Currently yielding almost 6% at this lower stock price.

After the bell yesterday, closed 3 of 4 legs of UVXY ironfly, leaving the worthless long put. Sold for 6.36 on May 2, bought for 4.83.

Tesla shares are trading higher on continued momentum after the stock rebounded above $200. Shares moved higher yesterday following a purported internal email from Elon Musk suggesting the company is on track to top its Q4 deliveries.

April 30, sold a June 21, 145/175 strangle for 1.50. Finally turned profitable, bought today for 1.01. It was a margin hog.

Sold June 7, 297.50 call for 1.00. I have 100 assigned shares with a new cost basis of 297.97, which wasn’t too bad when I was strong armed in acquiring them, stock now at 275. This expiration is just before earnings, and likely just before a 2.65 dividend as well. I’d prefer not to be owning this high priced stock.

I was assigned AVGO from a May 17, 320 put that was part of an earnings iron condor from March 14. I had an inverted strangle after some adjusting, current cost basis is 298.97 which includes a short 300 call. It’s a good day to be assigned, AVGO up around $5 to 298.

Jan. 23 I sold a Feb. 15 120/160 strangle, have made several adjustments, made another one. I had a May 17, inverted 160 call/190 put strangle that I rolled to June 21 165 put/185 inverted strangle for -.11. I’ve taken in 17.44 in premium through all the shenanigans. LRCX is at 189, down 8 today and has been as high as 209 a couple weeks ago.

April 22, sold a May 17, 30/39 strangle for 1.00, the next day rolled the put to 39 making a straddle. Closed today for 1.82 after collecting 2.11 in premium.

January 28, sold an iron condor, was assigned short stock in Feb, sold some puts and then a long call hedge for this quarters earnings, paid a dividend, closed today somehow making 118 from after all the maneuverings.

Yesterday sold a June 21, 50/80 strangle. Today rolled the 50 put to 80 for a June 21 80 straddle. I’ve collected $1028 in premium.
