  You got the supports which are still Active. And if you project the Down move from 11/3 to 11/16 we could go back down to 2037, 2024, 2000 or 1980.

Hi guys,

Another meetup member here who usually can’t go to the meetings. Just curious, if you thought SPY was going to 150 by the end of 2017, what’s the most aggressive way you would play that?

  “Most aggressive” is tough to answer, and with 2 full years as a time line, you’d need to narrow it down some. If you want to trade for a move that you believe will happen soon, either buying ATM puts on $SPY or selling ATM calls can be pretty aggressive. But neither I would recommend as speculative.

    Yes it’s a tough one- puts are very expensive that far out. Figure UVXY is going to lose close to 50% in the next several months, I might look at 2018 far, far OOM calls when they start trading.

  You could buy an OTM Debit Spread with a tinny Risk and a big Reward if you’re right.
  Or
  You could buy an ATM or ITM (Delta 0.7) Call for Jan 17 and start selling higher strike Calls (OTM Delta 0.4) against it in a Diagonal; that way you’ll reduce the cost of the long term Call. If you do the Diagonal, try to keep the Position Delta to around 18-28 or so.
