Tasty Trade response
Tastytrade has taken down the video of Karen’s last interview and put up this notice.
Like many, we are concerned about the SEC investigation into the accounting and reporting practices of Karen Bruton and her firm Hope Advisors. Ms. Bruton is not an employee of tastytrade and last appeared and was interviewed on the network 2 years ago, as a guest. In light of the investigation, we have removed all past videos airing Ms. Bruton for the time being. We at tastytrade believe in full and transparent disclosure by money managers and will continue to advocate on behalf of the retail trading community.

I have been taking positions off early so have only 2 expirations for today. Tasty trade recommends that you take off positions when they have 50% profit and I did that last month. I have found that I left a lot of profit on the table so have stopped doing that strategy even though it frees up a lot of capital. #optionsexpiration

SPX Sold short strikes expiring today- risk off
#SPXcampaign 6/1 STO 2070/2065 put spreads @ .35, 6/2 STO 2115/2120 call spreads @ .35, and Iron Condor expiring today, BTC both put and call spread short strikes @ .05 each taking risk off, longs will expire worthless. I’ve been bitten before by SPX late day snap backs, happy with 86% profit and free to leave early for the beach.

NUGT learned my lesson
Had 95 calls expiring today that were worth .025 yesterday and I didn’t close them knowing a big number today was coming that could possibly move gold a lot. Now sitting at 2.40 so probably stuck with them a little longer on the roll out. Woulda coulda shoulda….
