I almost asked why you didn’t wait til later in the day thinking that IV would increase. What was your reasoning?

  Because in my experience, IV usually drops into the afternoon. It is way more common for me to sell in the morning and see at least 25% profit by day’s end. The idea of premium rising intraday before earnings is usually false.

      Now you can see that they have dropped again; spread going for only 1.15 now. I added to my original trade, one at 1.35 and one at 1.45.
