SPX 0-dte trades 4/4/24

#SPX0dte Another over-reaction to data, this time slight rise in weekly jobless claims. Not sure if I’ll place a trade before the open.

The storm has taken our power out. Guess there is no trade for me today.

  A few years ago I bought a power backup unit, and plug my computer and WiFi into it. If power goes out, even for a second, power is uninterrupted. It can keep power up for a few hours, depending on how much you connect to it.
  
  Of course it won’t matter if the internet signal to your house also goes out, but since that’s not always connected to same power lines it has usually worked for me. But for internet I also have Hotspot on my phone.

    I have a UPS for both my computer and for another for my internet gear that get me at least 40 minutes of juice. They were both dead before we even woke up. We are new to this house, by next winter I’ll have a generator in place. This time around we have to wait for the power company.

  10% hit at 10:15 ET… holding for a bit more but I have to leave before 11 so I won’t be waiting long.

    Closed for 10.70, so 1.30 profit. I took the 10% given that we dropped more.
