Optionable stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with multiple expirations each week fall into two categories: those with daily (Monday through Friday) expirations and those with three expirations per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).

Daily Expirations (Monday – Friday)
The following ETFs offer options that expire every single weekday:
SPY (SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust)
QQQ (Invesco QQQ Trust)
IWM (iShares Russell 2000 ETF)

Three Expirations Per Week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Following SEC approval, Nasdaq expanded short-term options series to add Monday and Wednesday expiries for several major individual stocks and ETFs:
