XSP rolls 8/4/26

#FuzzyLEAPS Wonderful to be back ATM again, but the old frustrations wasted no time in cropping up: whether to wait when selling. Opened the day below both strikes but the blow out rally quickly got us above both strikes. This led to the age-old error of selling the high strike too early and the low strike too late.

Rolled $XSP Aug 4th 770 puts to Aug 5th 770 puts, .50 credit (now around 1.15)
Missed .90+ on the 765 puts, now going for under .50. Gonna see if any pullback comes.

Been walking this up all day. Got filled slightly better than normal. Last roll the mid was way too high so I ignored it and got a normal fill. This time the mid was way too low. Just have to ignore all that and plan on a fill anywhere from 25 to 28 debit.

Rolled Dec 2030 7600 to 7700 @ 26.50 debit.

Selling put spreads against my call spread hedges setting up iron flies. Got a shot at pinning but also reducing max loss on the positions. They’ve served me well on my short puts. 🙂 🙂
