DIGin a spread

$DIG – doing something a little out of character but think that oil has jumped a bit fast and should go back down. BTO vertical put spread. Mar 18 31/29 put spread for 0.65 when DIG trading at 31.10.

Becareful with Futures, they are totally different that stocks and indexes; they can sustain a trend for many months at a time without looking back…Just a thought.

  You’re right. Taking a defined risk of 0.65 to make 1.35 max. Wouldn’t normally buy this type of thing, but just trying something new. Maybe wrong, but know that going in with the 0.65. Definitely a short-term trade with just 10 days left. If it becomes profitable by more than 50%, I’ll probably exit early.
