I now have nothing expiring next week for vacation but still have a ton of theta decay so will make money while kiting, boating, and generally hanging out on a beach, nice! Selling options is a good skill to have.

Morning all. #ShortPuts Rolled my July 21st 55 Puts up and out to July 28th 65 Puts for 1.40 credit. Earnings are expected to exceed guidance. The up move in $AAOI has lifted the 50dma to just shy of 65. I will take assignment here. I’m estimating earnings will be out early August.

BTC July 14, 34.5 call @ 1.89 for a loss of 1.19 and sold 2019, 20 calls @ 16.74 for a gain of 1.23 but I did collect over $5,000 in weekly premiums. It worked out to be a 17.7% gain on the capital used.
