  It depends on the market. I was looking at the weekly chart and if you had bought $1,000 worth ten years ago it would be worth $55,000 today after all the splits.

    which brings up a question I ask other people(mostly amateur’s) /if you bought(whatever)(GME) and it
    ran up in (pick your time frame ,when would you sell it? Cause a car,house payment was due.
    You have to set a mental place to pull trigger ,to get off the train and pay a bill!
    
    My % return is what I feel is reasonably and reality and that can vary of course, not set in stone.

        It is very volatile but if you stay small enough, you may be able to ride out the swings.

      I can follow the trade and stop myself out if I choose but I have the resources to take delivery and write covered calls since I don’t think this index will go out of business like some corporation.
