I made about 200 Pts on YM each day..The intra-day IV is somewhat surprising, as Index trading intra-day is usually quite slack in august..

    For TOS I can send you what I use….I dont trade inside boxes..I use CCI-14 to move in trends and stay out of boxes..I am reasonably good at Charting and trading with price..I can usually spot a pause or box forming after 2-3 candles ..CCI will tell me when Momentum is done on a move..and it will tell me when to get in for the next move..

      that would be great,i have tried to decipher your charts and copy. In tos the paper charting does not follow real time and when I moved charting over to real time it almost mated up.
      I have receive approval from tos for futures just not attempted yet.

I’m not much for the day trading but i enjoy watching. Keep hoping “TheWizard” will go live some day with real time entry and exits where i can match those up with my chart setups and maybe learn a little more and follow along with 1 contract.

  I didnt think I would be much of a futures Daytrader either…I didnt think I could apply my charting in a super fast environ..after learning how to trade the Futures indexes, and coming up with a system to make it work easy ( for me anyway), I find it not an issue at all..and actually cant think of trading anything else..Once I slowed ES and YM down, its really great fun…

        as a starting place, look at the below…
        
        The YM moves an average of 100 pts daily, tues/weds/thrs
        
        If you make 40 pts those 3 days..trading 2 contracts
        
        40 points x 2 contracts = 400.00 x 3 days = 1200.00 weekly
        
        thats 4800.00 monthly for taking 30% of whats available..
        
        Most pro’s I know trade 10 contracts and make significantly more than I do..

        I believe it is there just gotta stick my toes and do it. I am comfortable with TA charts just trying to keep it simple and I have a strong tendency to add to chart thinking more is better.

    /YM and ES traders, I can tell you that FibWz really does know this stuff. I have
    worked with him and his set-ups are uncanny. Takes some time to get the feel but
    it does work.

      Pay attention to the chart, and in particular where the vert lines intersect the CCI levels and the pivots at..when the CCI crosses -100, 0, +100 at pivots and 34ma, LOD/HOD…those are significant momentum shifts..My trades are all Momentum and Line bounce trades..
      
      YM so far today…Yellow lines are trades I took…

        I know your busy killing it right now but at 14:22 cci is touching… well now above-100 line and green up arrow appeared on chart will you exit or wait till blue bar forms?

        at 14:22, CCI crossed the -100 upward..I exited my trade at that signal, and the price moved sideways for awhile..at 14:35, CCI dropped below the -100 again, I went short and exited as the CCI moved up over the -100 once more..at 14:55…both moves totalled together for 100 points..
        as well it was also a 13 pt move on ES..

        When you are opening do you bto product at limit or market as well as close market or limit?
        
        Are you focused on candles and color change for entry and or does cci need to be crossing -100 or -200 or that blue line in between ?
        
        Do you set some stop limit right away?
        I dont see fib lines in chart ,have you drifted away from them. Do you follow eminiaddict or read his book?
        Seems your just price action only?

        so when bars turn from grey to blue or vis versa, momentum changes direction.
        and that correlates to cci crossing -100 or =100.
        still working on congestion boxes to feel or know when they are happening.
        @ 11:06 i would have got shaken-ed out.
