Jeff-Can you please share with me the rules behind the upside/downside warnings related to the VIX? I wasn’t able to find any information on the site about it. Thanks.

  The best bet is to click on this hashtag: #VIXIndicator, and read the history of posts about it. But the basic triggers are:
  Downside Warning when $VIX closes 25% above the 2-day closing low, or 50% above the recent VIX intraday low. It is canceled when VIX closes below the 78.6% Fib retracement, drawn between recent intraday VIX low and high.
  Upside Warning is triggered with three consecutive closes below that 78.6% line. It is canceled with any VIX intraday spike above the 25% or 50% levels
