gain of 5 points, 250/pt…

333t instead of 133t in /ES? Is that due to the volume difference in them?

  yes, The ES is traded more than the YM, so I use a 333 to slow my chart down a lil..133 on the ES is like a 1 min chart which is way to noisy…a slower chart makes it clearer and easy to trade..

        getting better at teh behaviour patterns…as well I already had ES experience on charts, as I have used it for my options timing for a few years ..so its just adapting that to teh YM now..so my learning curve is a lot shorter..

        I’m gonna start playing around with one /YM contract. At 5 bucks a point with a reasonable stop the tuition should be affordable…LOL

Agree, Fuzzy…on YM I use a 20 point stop…but usually if it comes back to break-even where I entered after a few points, I just exit..you usually know pretty quick whether its going to work or not..

The key in Futures, is to never hesitate…if your going to exit, just do it …never 2nd guess your self..pull the trigger imeediately…every futures pro i learn with says that..I have always pulled the trigger and never thought about it in my options trades anyway..so exiting YM/ES is never an issue for me..just an FYI

  Thanks…I’ve sorta messed around with the scalping a little previously. Mostly on /VX with decent success. I’ve been hunting for a more reliable system and really enjoy what you’re doing. Pretty familiar with futures since I’ve carried short /ES against short put hedge position many times (including now…LOL) They eventually pay off especially with gradually raising the basis over time.
