I was watching trying to guess what you were doing. Thought maybe you would flip flop and go short too at 19888 around 8:44. My pivot points aren’t matching up with yours exactly. My R1 is 19903. Not sure where I’m messed up at…

Oops…never mind. I had 3 day / 133t instead of 1 day / 133t

Have you ever used the 21 period ema as another indicator? JC was saying a close below or above the 21 ema is a red flag and then a second bar confirming is a pretty good reversal sign. Does that sound right?

  I dont use MA’s on Futures daytrade charts, the Squeeze/Wave/ and Launchpad or power indicator trio work terrifically better for me..if my power indicator goes above 10 or so on a triggered squeeze, and the wave-a starts to move in the same direction, I enter a trade…
  
  If the power indicator stays below 7 or so, I dont take the trade, as it will be a small move and not worth the risk..risking 2 points to make 2 points isnt a good trade..risking 1 point to make 5 is what I am after…

    Don’t have the power indicator. He’s been selling it but I haven’t sprung for it. Is there anything similar to it?

      I bought the Launch or power indicator last night..Both my trades today were based on it exceeding the 10 line..after a squeeze fired off…its not perfect, but it allows me to have a greater chance of an extended move on my trade..and not taking small moves that wont make any real money..

        I use Think or swim for my charts..they have the indicators that I use, as well as I am able to create my own indicators and studies, like a scan list using daily or weekly chart squeezes..as well the Carter Group indicators, Like Wave/Squeeze/Power, are always made for TOS and Tradestation, as thats the platforms John Carter uses..
        
        My trades are all executed on Options House, using what use to be Trade Monster’s platform..its the best options platform for what I do..not the cheapest..but it makes selling premium easy and keeps me at a 90% win rate..and is very reliable..

        Thanks. I was on hold for 15 minutes with TradeStation and just gave up. I am not getting off to a good start with them so far.

        I had an acct with TDA for a long time, and left 100.00 in it to use TOS…that allows me to Get TOS real time for futures, Stocks, Forex, and options..TOS also has 4 or 5 of Carter’s indicators, including Squeeze, for no extra charge..for me its 100.00 well spent ..

  Not a bad deal..as I said, there are others cheaper..but the platform is the best for options traders in my opinion..and I dont make that many options trades on a monthly basis..so the higher comm’s arent a real factor for me..I am guessing since I have the right tool set in place now, 60% of my trades will be futures, and 40% will be option selling..all on index’s..
