    Always as far out as possible and never a full position on the entry. 50 bucks could still be in play.
    
    An extra year only costs a couple dollars more and drastically reduces theta….unless you’re really trying to go short term directional I think longer is better. IMHO…

      About $3-4 on average I am finding by going out another year. 52 more times to sell premium against it!

      I may set up a few 90 DTE on the long side just for kicks. Looking at the math appears to be about 20% returns monthly if stays in a range. Obviously with volatility you would need to roll/adjust and that would decrease profits. But you can always extend duration with a few extra $ and a commission.

        I might try it with WDC next week since it sucks. If nothing else I can at least take some credit and cash back out of my LEAPs.
