#offtopic Do I remember correctly that you are still a member of SMM? If so, have you been there long enough that you monthly charge is going up to $97? I ask because I remember all the times Dan said that our rates would always stay the same as when we initially joined. I questioned him about it, but got forwarded to Karen. She gave me the company line about not wanting to do it, added value, etc. etc.. Maybe I am overreacting, but it bothers me when someone goes back on their word and doesn’t mention it in any explanation. I’m just looking to see if anyone else has a different point of view. Thank you in advance.

  They told me that my rate would not be going up since I am a long time member and older. If you coverce with them, please do not tell them I told you.

        Yes I would stay because I get ideas from the forum and he is gotten better on his stock picks. I also subscribe to Mark Minervini and will let that expire in January. He is too expensive and I can get the same material from SMM.

        I just wanted to update you on SMM. I have cancelled my membership after many years there. They refused to keep my current rate the same. After hearing from you and others that your rates weren’t going up. And after being told multiple times that our rates would always be grandfathered, I just couldn’t let it go. I just can’t do business with people that don’t honor their word and do things that are right and fair. Thank you for your help!

        I’ve decided that I don’t want to do business with someone who displays a lack of integrity. It is my understanding the even Gary has parted ways with him. I think that says a lot.

        I am curious, for you guys who have stayed with that service for a long time, are you there to pick a few trade ideas, or learning from his approach, or something else? He is ok with stock, not sure about options…

        Scott and Bridget are still there but I think Scott wants to go off on his own. I stay there to get ideas and never post. If I get one or two ideas a year they pay for the service. I also belong to Minervini but will let my subscription expire. I think his service is too expensive and he has not been very good on his stock picks this year.
