Since these are IRA accounts, normally I would wait for expiration of this week’s calls and write new ones on Monday. But I have found that the premiums for 1 week options collapses over the weekend and the bid prices are much lower Monday morning than they are on the close Friday afternoon. I may leave a few dollars on the table buying back worthless options early, but net-net I think I come out ahead.
