Has anyone here traded the NDX?
I have been paper trading it. I’m wondering what you think of this trade June 16 IC 5850/5875//5400/5375 for 5.30ish credit?

I prefer naked strangles so I’ve never traded it. Just a quick look on TOS, with portfolio margin, a 5400/5850 strangle would be a 39k margin hit.

    I only see it as 2K drop in buying power for this IC.

Seems like a decent trade. 150 points in either direction. We have moved 150 points up since 4/26… that’s less time than it is until June 16th, but I would assume a slower pace to get there. Just have a stop level in mind roll plan in place, unless you’re okay with the loss.

I use to trade it, but the bid and ask spreads are wider than SPX or /es. Also there can be some liquidy problems when the market starts moving but yes some people trade it successfully
