TQQQ calls closed

#LongLEAPs #SyntheticCoveredCalls Since these started the day ITM, taking profits now as this may be a sustained bounce.

BTC $TQQQ Dec 7th 51.5 calls for .55. Sold last week for 1.25.

I had a margin problem so I rolled my 54 calls out to February 15, 60 calls for a debit of 2.70 this morning. My timing is miserable but still only need .15 cents per week from February 15. However, there is no longer going to be a margin problem.

  I’m trying my best with these calls. For my last round with long TQQQ LEAP, I actually lost money on the call rolls. So far so good this time.

    I have decided that if I am below my strike price on my long options in 2021, I will only write the minimum that I need to earn on a weekly basis. I have 2 years to make this work and if the FED stops raising rates and we fix the China trade issue we could have a rally in the next 2 years.

      I don’t plan long term… I will likely exit on any large rally we get in the next few month. If we don’t, then I’ll keep selling calls until I break even then probably exit. My theory is recession starts by end of next year, and we enter bear market.

    If we get a recession, the FED lowers rates and the market goes up unless there is a real inflation problem. Especially in an election year.
