I have to admit that I am finding it hard to make any money on the TQQQ. There is not much premium on selling calls and I don’t want to sell puts since I don’t know how far the FED will go. At least I am not loosing money but not making much either. Good luck to everyone.

HOOD lottery ticket update…

Original trade: Sold HOOD MAY 20 2022 25.0/15.0 Bull Put Spreads @ 9.00
Risking 1 to make 9 if the stock took off. (it didn’t).
So on a bounce a few days ago figuring it would get sold:

If HOOD closes below 10 on Friday whole position goes away at even. If HOOD is above 10 but below 25 I’ll close the long put near end of day and take the double exercise assigned/called away at 10 for breakeven. The stock would really have to see some good news for me to even consider rolling the 10 strike short calls and keeping the stock.

Well, I stayed out of Hollywood for over 13 years, but they dragged me back in. I’m back in LA to work on the TV series version of Field of Dreams. Just started today and it will last until end of the year. I am going to keep my #SPX1dte strategy going as best I can but won’t be able to post all of my trades or keep the site updated every day.
For instance, today my Friday trade expired worthless but I wasn’t able to place a trade for tomorrow.

VIX and Markets
The VIX has rolled over from a 6 day run to the mid 30’s and is now below 30 for the first time since 5/5.
I’m guessing that if it closes below 30 that this market has turned the corner for now.
I’m way ahead of the Bistro VIX indicator but I trade VIX based options every day and it gives me a good feel about it’s movements.
