Addy, I know I’m not selling $UVXY calls right now because the premium has really dried up so there is not a great risk reward. It can be done, but I think most of us believe we have more volatility coming our way so there will be better times to enter new trades at better prices. I’m just letting my existing positions run off, suspect Fuzzball, Iceman, Ramie, Jeff are doing the same.

Sitting on cash, waiting for the next good entry. $UVXY back above $50, and I think you’ll see activity pick back up.

  UVXY, agree, the market is up. Therefore, selling UVXY calls is not now, but I noticed no selling for the past few weeks.

    Enter UVXY and you’ll see there was plenty two weeks ago, but not much last week after we started rallying. I have sold some puts which are now threatened.

It is mostly traded when there are volatility spikes. As UVXY comes down, the silence you hear is everyone making money as their short calls deteriorate. #VXXGame

$UVXY @Addy I am already in $UVXY (short) covered with a Mar 18 $35 put. Since price is near previous support, I am watching before committing to increase that position. I am leaning toward the idea SPX is making higher highs and higher lows, hence bullish. But I plan to wait till after tomorrow’s opening 15 to 30 minutes for clarity.
