$VIX I set an alert for the VIX below 17.75 per hcgavis discussion of contango/backwardation. Just went off.

Yes, that’s the #VIXIndicator level for cancellation of the Downside Warning (see right column). However, we must CLOSE below it… this is the fourth time we’ve gone under it intraday, but we have yet to stay under into the close.

I just checked vix central and the April contracts dropped more than the march contracts so we are still inverted/backwards 😦

Looks like it will now take 17.3 on the March contract to get back to contango.
