Hedges can suck for sure…nothing worse than my AMZN April 1340 call! Patience and a gradual roll up and it should still pay nicely. I do think further out in time gives a lot more options to work these positions but you can still always close earlier if you want. I’ve found that if I don’t give myself enough time you can get trapped with a loser on a huge rally or a huge pullback. I’ll take the extra time every time!
