Two down, one to go

#VIXIndicator Another somewhat volatile day capped with a plunging VIX. That’s two consecutive days below the Fib 78.6% line… if it happens again tomorrow we shall be entering next week with an Upside Warning.

Two days in a row with a big downside followed by a slow climb back to flat as the day progressed. We trade in interesting times.

  Yes, still could be. Yesterday’s cancelation usually means that sharper downside risk has subsided. If we can’t pull of a third close below 12.61 tomorrow, we could certainly remain range bound. But if we get the signal, historical odds are we rally next week. I would guess a run to at least 2800, and then we’ll have to see whether the rally continues or we resume consolidation.
