SPX 1-dte

#SPX1dte Sold to Open $SPX Dec 9th 3095/3105-3175/3185 condors for .45. 10-wide, doiuble sized position. IV: 7.01%, SPX 3149.

I am curious if buying a condor would be a more profitable trade, with such a low IV.

  I have tried that a few times…. was successful only about 20% for only a small profit. I have also tried Risk/Reversals, entered for a credit. I failed to gain profit on the debit spread, but profited overall as everything expired worthless. Picking the right days is the hardest part. We’re in a sustained rally now, but yesterday had a small range and ended almost flat. Then today we get the explosion.
