#PreEarnings This one has had a tendency to drift higher into earnings. Low-priced stock so the 37-delta options are cheap. Earnings estimated Aug 23-30, so I have room to roll once or twice.

What do the IC or SPX traders think of this opportunity:
Sell Jul 16 2795/2800/2805 for $3.40. The risk is $1.60 with relatively large cushion. It seems attractive to me but I have little experience with IC’s.
edit: Present price 2799 +/- with price mid-point varying 3.30 to 3.50.
#CoveredCallCampaign Had a couple calls breached so I exited on the intraday pullbacks. Will look to re-enter OLED but probably leave the other two until earnings.

All said and done made 1.02 per contract on a 7 lot. LEAPS were up about 12 points but blocked by the weekly sales almost from the beginning. 😦
Crazy red candle after the stock gapped at the open to around 130. Now at 117.18 and looks to have found some buying at the 200 day moving average. I’m thinking support will hold and the stock will stay above its lows in April (108-109) and Nov of last year (100).

Looking at the stock’s move over the last 12 quarters, with the stock right now at 400, its
ONE-DAY max UP move would take us to 476.08 (19.0%), max DOWN move would take us to 347.52 (-13.1%)
FIVE-DAY max UP move would take us to 511.00 (27.8%), while max DOWN move is the same, 347.52.
I may sell 475 calls if I can get a buck or more.

Hey everyone, my dad has been having some serious health issues where I’ve found myself called to the hospital on a moment’s notice, a couple times. So my trading is more position-oriented now, less active, longer term focus, until I get past this. I’m still trying to read everyone’s posts as I can! I was sad to miss the 3-in-5 trigger a week ago.
