Low was 93.37 or so an perfectly tagged a long term elliot wave line. @smasty160 may recognize those lines coming from simpler.

    yes but I think 100 will be more like a magnet than true resistance. Probably sit around there for a while if we get back to that.

Ok, this a an indicator I bought. I talked to Raul at alphashark and he said everyone on this site could get the special price at $299 if you want it. If you do here is the link.

If you want a free/cheap version you can do it in TOS except for the bollinger band indicator. I have come close using a BBMACD, see the settings in one of my previous posts and I also put the thinkscript in there. Once loaded you will need to un-check the show study, plot and bubble boxes, there is a little glitch in the code I could never sort out.

Go to main screen or up top the time or style settings. Regular candles but use range bars. Set the timeframe to 1 year and use somewhere between 20-40 ticks. 20 ticks will give you more signals but also more whipsaws. Since I mostly sell options I am trading out about a week and the 20 tick setting seems to work well for most names. If you are scalping or day trading I would probably use 10-15 ticks or use @fibwizard charts. His are really good for day trading.

As a lower indicator you could also use CCI with settings of 14 or 30. On the range charts they basically act like an on/off switch.

Finally 21 EMA.

On a range chart each bar is however you set it, so a 20 tick means each bar is 20 cents. It takes the time component out but makes the chart much smoother. You can easy use a cross of the 21 ema or the indicator (cci or BB if you buy it) as the trigger.

Full disclosure, I do not trade directionally other than to sell options at the pivot points.

      I left them on for comparison but you can do this without the proprietary indicators. Just easier for me to use the indicator and worth the 299, paid for itself in 2 trades.
      
      Range bars set to 20-40 ticks on a 1 year time frame.
      
      21 ema
      
      BB up top 20 0r 21 simple with 2 std.
      
      Instead of using macdbb i would probably use cci set to 14. Us it like an on/off switch. Crossing above -100 from the bottom go long, crossing below 100 from above go short or close. You could use the ichomoku cloud as a final filter.
