I’ve had the 65 cents for a couple years. Nice to see the ridiculous exercise fees gone!

    They dropped the ticket charge when they gave me 65 cents. Wouldn’t budge on the exercise fee. Nothing like a good ol stock implosion to get their attention. 😆

      I just negotiated 2 months ago from 1.00 option no ticket to .65 cents and got exercise fee 10.00.
      So happy about 0 fees/assignment fee would eat in to my profit. no Mas..
      I have had TD since 1999 and always tried lowering fees and now blink of an eye./Bam!

I was negotiating, unsuccessfully, as recently as Monday to reduce assignment fees to $4.95 from $6.95. I wonder if the people telling me “no” knew what was coming the next day.
I was down to $1.00 on options, zero is better.

  Competition is good, everyone is having to drop fees since Schwab went zero commission. I suspect it is because they lost a lot of business from Optionsxpress after they bought them. It was a great trading platform, they screwed it. I pulled what was left of my accounts out after they would not let me trade to hedge my portfolio on 8/24 and 8/25, 2015. They locked everyone’s account then started closing positions on margin calls. By the time the platform was back up my 6 figure portfolio was almost gone. Same positions at TOS and TS made money 2 weeks later after I hedged.
  
  I am sure some of you remember those days as well as I do 😦
  
  I don’t care if Schwab paid me to trade there, never giving them another penny as long as I am breathing.
